after growing up in a small yet vibrant Jewish community at the bottom of the world/ after attending a religious Zionist school that no matter how far away we were, we built strong connections with Israel/ after exploring the far corners of the developing world, the heights of the Western world, the extremes of religion and secularism/ I settled my sights on the eretz she'ochelet et yoshveha (the land that eats her inhabitants)...
i have since returned to my hometown, fiscally saving to own a piece of Eretz Yisrael. One foot in Melbourne, the other in Israel, I'm finding this balancing act a little wobbly.
